Seven Mountains Media and the City of Altoona present the
Spirit of Christmas Parade!
We’re proud to announce that we will be awarding $500 for
Best Marching Band/Dance Group/Drum Corp AND Best Overall Float!
Second place will be awarded $250!
Our panel of expert judges will be on the lookout for creativity, craftsmanship and what sets your float apart from the rest. Participation is open to all.
Seven Mountains Media, the City of Altoona, parade judges,
and emcees will be at the grandstand by Heritage Plaza.
After the parade, we will announce the winners on our stations.
Parade Route:
Start: Corner of 17th Street/9th Ave
Continue straight down northbound on 17th Street
Right onto 12th Ave
Continue until you reach 12th Street, then make a right
Follow 12th Street and make a right onto 11th Ave
End: 16th Street

Join us in spreading holiday joy!
At the start of the Parade...
• Toys for Tots will be collecting new, unwrapped toys.
• The Salvation Army will be actively collecting donations to support those in need.
• Help Amtran “Stuff the Bus” by donating essential food items to those in need. Volunteers will be collecting non perishable food items.
It is time to write letters to Santa!
Keep an eye out for our volunteers with red collection bags right before Santa makes his grand entrance in the parade – they’ll be gathering letters to be personally mailed to the North Pole!
